Once upon a time in America we had thinkingpeople who were given classical education, not 'ed-ju-mahkasion'. No ebonics in here.Just the real words used by real people. This should be a must read;study;educationfor every family brave enough and smartenough to home school. I highly recommendthis.Revisionist Rich Salzer,Historical Review Library,United States(but for how long).of America, 2010 A.D.
She loves to research the original meaning of words, especially in the Bible. Our 21 yr. old granddaughter was the recipient of this birthday gift and just loves it. She carries it with her in the car, everywhere she goes. It is very heavy but an outstanding reference book.
When it arrived, I was immediately impressed with the overall quality with which it was published. Many might be hesitant of purchasing this dictionary because of the price. I jumped in and decided to buy it. A good binding, and beautiful cover combined very well with a famous dictionary to make this item a great addition to my library. I highly recommend to others that they purchase of this dictionary.
I had no idea this book existed until a few days ago. This will now be my new default dictionary to consult when reading the Harvard Classics. Thanks for putting this out there.
I have been wanting to purchase this Dictionary for some time now. I have not been disappointed. It is a pleasure to read the results of the desire of a man to restore the integrity and godly morals of this country.
